The Countdown Begins

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is just around the corner. And yes, projects you wanted to complete for Christmas can be completed. If you need some space away from hectic, come to Thimbles and work on your projects.  The classroom is a perfect place to come and sew without the distractions of home. Call ahead but most days will be open. There are irons and cutting mats available for your use. Bring a lunch and spend the day. You will need to bring your own sewing supplies.

This Thursday, December 1st, is the WCAHS tree lighting event at Spooner Market & Grill from 4-7pm. Wool mitten ornaments were made and donated and the store will be closed at 4pm as we’ll be heading over to kick off the event. So come join in on the fun. Did I mention there will be food and lots of prizes you can win?

December Event: During the month of December when you spend $25, not only will you receive a Thimblebuck, but you’ll also be able to select a fat quarter from the Christmas Tree!

Now stocking some new notions; 22″ Zippers from Terry Atkinson, 14″ lacy zippers and pastel colors of satin bindings for the babies.

During the holidays when you don’t have the time and/or place to sew, it would be a great time to drop off your machine to have it cleaned and serviced. When you’re ready to get back into your sewing room in January your machine will be ready to go and you can hit the ground running.

Enjoy your week. And if you can get away stop in and chat a while.
