This awesome weather feels like we’ve rewound the weather to September and I have to keep reminding myself we’re in November.   The bats are still flying around img_0634-2and the Pumpkins are still on the vinesimg_0581-2 and we have kits.

Ladies night is fast approaching…..Monday, November 21st – 5-8pm Downtown Spooner.  The town comes to life and the ladies take over the town….this kick-off for the holiday season really does put you in the festive spirit.  Eat, shop, play games through the town.  For every food shelf item you bring you will receive an entry that will be entered into the Grand Prizes for the event.  At Thimbles we’ll be having fun games, great shopping and a little food to keep you going.  Don’t forget to bring your Thimblebucks.   So call your friends and get the gang together and just follow the road that takes you into the town that’s ablaze with lights.

The next Kim Diehl “Simple What Not” is coming up on Tuesday, November 15th.  We’ll be doing the “Barn Dance” (project on the left) so let me know if you’re interested and we’ll get a kit ready for you.  Cost of the kit is $38.95.  img_0372-2

And with winter on the horizon we have our first Stargazing Snowmen runner:  img_0641-3We have two dates scheduled; Tuesday, January 17th and Saturday, January 21st.  Let me know if you’re interested and we’ll get you signed up.  This project uses the Strippy Star template from Creative Grid.  Perfect points and happy snowmen.

Open sewing continues on Wednesday’s so if you need to get away from the loads of work at home, bring your machine and project in to work on at the shop.  Pack a lunch.  There are irons and cutting tables/mats available for your use, but you do need to bring your cutter, rulers, pins, scissors.

Enjoy this wonderful weather and when you’re in town stop in and see what’s going on.
