Happy New Year

Welcome 2017!  And with the new year we have a lot of fun classes in the works.  January is a great month to clean up and clean out.  The fabrics that keep moving around the room but never want to play well with others may need to find a new home.  It’s time.  Once they move out the other prints start dancing and your creative energy kicks in and you have multitudes of projects you can begin.  Now is the time to create.  The weather is cold and blustery.  Sew and get lost in the sewing room and when you peak out….there will be sunshine and green grass.  Maybe not, but it is time to get projects completed and new ones started.  The classroom at Thimbles is available every Wednesday and other dates if you call ahead.

If you have any old wooden spools of thread and want to get rid of them, don’t throw, bring to Thimbles.  I’m collecting and we want to stuff the Doughboy.  Receive a Thimblebuck for your wooden spools.img_0763-1

Enjoy the week and stop in when you’re in town.  We have a lot of new things to see.

Happy New Year!  So very grateful for quilting friends.  Quilting is our happy place and continually creating and playing with beautiful fabrics keeps us healthy.  So get sewing and stay healthy my quilting friends.
