Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July.  I love celebrating our nation’s birthday.  A gathering of family and friends.   The shop will be open July 3rd and closed on July 4th to celebrate.  Open sewing on Wednesday, July 5th.  And this is just the start of the July summer celebrations.

Following up the 4th celebration is the Spooner Rodeo.  The Rodeo parade will start at 12 – noon on Saturday July 8th.  They will be closing Walnut street at noon and having a pre-rodeo party in the empty parking area by the old ice arena.  Thimbles will be open at 9am on Saturday, July 8th, and close at noon.  So if you are planning to come and shop….come early.

And Thimbles turns another year older….12 year Anniversary cannot go by without a little hoot and hollar…so we’ll be celebrating on Tuesday, July 11th.  And no anniversary party would be complete without a “challenge”.   It’s quite a simple challenge and you will be given your “starter” packet when you arrive along with all the details.  You must mark this event on your calendar as you don’t want to miss it and the shortcake.  You don’t have to be part of the challenge to come to celebrate the anniversary, but did I mention we’ll be following up the challenge with a panini lunch event on August 15th for those that complete their project.  You’ll only find out more about the challenge when you come to celebrate….and don’t forget your Thimblebucks.

Enjoy your 4th!  See you soon.
