Getting Them Done!

Each year at this time we are all back in the sewing room scrambling to get a million projects completed along with trying to start and complete new ones for the holidays, special occasions….but this year there’s something different in the air…..I’m hearing a lot of quilts are off the to do list and on the “done” pile.  I love it.  The thrill of completing a project that has been waiting patiently in the closet or under the bed to be completed has now become a shining star!

This year’s Christmas project are Christmas Ornaments.  We’ve got three classes scheduled; November 3rd, 5th and 17th to come and make these little cuties.  There are 6 in total, 3 will be donated.  Followed up by a Christmas Lunch at Pine Brook Farms on December 6th.  Spaces are limited so you must sign up soon.  Cost is $35 which includes lunch, pattern, and fabric.  img_0597 Contact the shop to sign up.

Ladies Night is quickly approaching in Spooner.  November 21st – 5pm-8pm come shop, eat, laugh and chatter as the town comes to life and deals can be had everywhere.  If you bring a food shelf item or make a purchase your name will be entered into the grand prize drawings that will be held in the very festive park at 8pm!  You can enter with each food shelf item and or purchase.  Carolers will be caroling….Scrooge will be wandering about town and you’ll see the little elves moving about.  You don’t want to miss coming to Thimbles, we’re in for some awesome fun!

We still have openings for the Mini Pineapple Pumpkin Runner class on Wednesday, November 2nd.  Let me know if you’re interested.  img_0560-2

We also have a new Christmas project using the mini pineapple trim tool and have limited kits available:
