Cherry Blossoms Anyone?

It’s not to early to smell the Cherry Blossoms of Spring and if you can’t smell them, at least you can sew up a fun new project with these yummy colorsimg_0771This line is from Henry Glass and has some free projects on line.  We’ll be making up a sample with kit shortly.

And moving through the Cherry Blossoms why not keep going to the coast and bring back some crabs to delight your picnic table this summerimg_0767Or make some fun summer pillows.

Looking for something more contemporary?  How about a modern Alphabet?

The panel is 38″ x 54″ and a simple border will give you a nice sized lap quilt.  img_0773-1

Just a few ideas to spark the creativity.  January is clean up and out month.  Let yourself daydream as you organize and have some fun with some of those prints you want to play with.

I’m having fun with my tub of salvages.  Making dresden plates.

Coneheads get ready…..we’re starting back serging again on Thursday, February 2nd.  New project for the month is gift bags.  You’ll be raiding your sewing room for those fun fabrics to turn into bags.  They’re oh so fun to make.  Call the shop to let me know if you’re planning to come and I’ll let you know what you need to bring.  Open to all who want to get more from their sergers.  If you’re serger hasn’t been used in a while you may want to bring it in and have it cleaned and the tension set to get you off the ground running.

Enjoy your week and create.  Hope to see you soon.
