August 1, 2016 – Newsletter

Last week was our first Kids Sewing Camp and it was awesome.  The talent and skill of these young ladies and one little gent was unbelievable.  Now they want to tackle a quilt!  Yeah.  I’ll have more details on when we’ll be having this class if there are others that may be interested.

August is here and you have until the 31st to complete your Mini Challenge for those that are participating and for those wanting more information, stop in ……you still have time to join in.

If you’re participating in the Blog Hop and downloading the weekly patterns for the Harvest Mystery hosted by Farmhouse Threads we’ll be scheduling shop time this fall to come in and work on the blocks.  I’ve just finished the first two weeks and am currently working on week #3 IMG_0429 (2)  Let me know if you’re interested.  You will need to bring your pattern, so make sure you keep up to date.

Even though we’re into the dog days of summer my favorite time of the year is just around the corner and I love making Fall projects.  The newest Halloween project with a panel.  IMG_0428 (2)Simple and it ended up a little larger than I expected.  58″ x 87.

If you’re in need of a quick summer table runner, the Daisy’s are ready.  Simple and fresh.  Fresh lemonade just hits the spot with this sweet runner.IMG_0381 (2)

Keep cool and stop in when you get a chance.
